Global Education of Manual Therapists (GEMt) began in 2008, and their goal is to offer world-class educational courses to manual therapists around the globe. GEMt’s Dry Needling courses have been very well received and will benefit manual therapists and clinicians who work with patients and athletes suffering acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Their courses offer both clinically specific information and ongoing support programs to ensure your satisfaction and success.
GEMt will be here March 28-29 for the inaugural Lower Limb – Podiatry Dry Needling course in Singapore! GEMt is no stranger to Singapore. The most recent course conducted in Nov 2019 for local physiotherapists was very well received! And we thought we should also share the love with Podiatry.
The GEMt Lower Limb – Podiatry Dry Needling course is suitable for Podiatrists, Foot & Ankle Surgeons, and also Physios and other health practitioners with interest in the lower limb.
Presented by Australian Physiotherapist Robert De Nardis, Director of GEMt International, this course guarantees to change the way you view the human body; and if you have needled before, it will take your skills to a new level!
This 2-day course has the following course outcomes:
• Defining trigger points and myofascial pain syndromes
• Review of literature supporting efficacy and treatment rationale of GEMt Dry Needling
• Effectively treat orthopaedic and neuromuscular conditions
• Regional anatomy review
• Discuss safety, indications and contraindications for treatment
Course certification (certified competent) will be presented to you upon successful completion and is supported by Podiatry Association Singapore.
